The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in collaborating with clients to facilitate the successful delivery of their office environments. The projects will encompass a range of scopes and will be executed on both Traditional and Design & Build frameworks. This position is integral to the technical team within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Assume full accountability for project delivery from start to finish, ensuring efficient management of all components.
  • Client Engagement: Provide outstanding client service, serving as the main point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Office Renovation Management: Supervise the complete office renovation process, offering expert guidance and resources at every phase.
  • Contract Drafting: Prepare Engagement Agreements for director review prior to finalization with clients.
  • Client Consultation and Design: Develop and refine client briefs, guiding them through the design process to fulfill their requirements.
  • Procurement Guidance: Advise clients on procurement strategies and contract alternatives that align with their objectives.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify critical project risks, assisting clients in understanding and mitigating these risks with practical solutions.
  • Tender Management: Oversee the tendering process for contractors and suppliers on behalf of the client.
  • On-Site Oversight: Manage on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to the building contract terms.
  • Post-Project Support: Conduct post-project evaluations and assist clients through the project closure process.
  • Client Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • CRM Management: Ensure client information is accurately maintained in the CRM system.
  • Team Mentorship: Support the growth and development of junior team members.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the director in pitches and client meetings, identifying new business opportunities.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical advice and support to the broader team.
  • Brand Development: Work with the marketing team to enhance and promote the technical services brand.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered status (MRICS) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role with a strong aptitude for managing client relationships.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing project contracts on traditional and design and build bases.
  • Expertise in workplace strategy and advising clients accordingly.
  • Desire to mentor junior team members and the capability to approve their work.
  • Dependable individual who takes ownership of responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage client relationships effectively, ensuring high service levels.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve project objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills, focusing on clear interactions with clients.
  • Experience with commercial tenants/occupiers is advantageous but not essential.
  • Capability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
