The ideal candidate will have significant experience in hydraulic modelling, flood risk assessment, and SuDs schemes. You will be responsible for managing and delivering projects, conducting site visits, and working closely with clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of flood risk assessments, SuDs schemes, and other water management projects
  • Conduct hydraulic modelling and produce high-quality reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals
  • Organize and conduct site visits, attend team and client meetings
  • Develop and implement effective water management strategies

Requirements:

  • Relevant hydrology qualification and chartered status (preferably ICE)
  • Proven experience in flood risk assessment, SuDs schemes, and hydraulic modelling
  • Strong knowledge of UK legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Experience with GIS and other software packages
  • Full driving license

Desirable Criteria:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in peat stability and related assessments
  • Strong scientific and engineering knowledge in hydrology
  • Tendering and bid preparation experience
  • Production of EIA chapters
