About the Role

The Deputy Director of Finance and Performance will play a critical role in supporting the Executive Director of Finance & Resources in delivering the financial duties of Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. This includes ensuring a sound system of internal financial control and governance arrangements are in place, as well as developing and implementing plans to support long-term financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take the lead on the Trust's Finance Staff Development strategy, supporting the development and embedding of a shared vision for the Finance Directorate.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Finance Directorate, working autonomously to achieve individual and team objectives.
  • Support the development and implementation of plans to support long-term financial sustainability.
  • Work routinely with partnership boards, providing strategic financial advice and guidance to clinical and operational Directors.
