About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Therapy Technical Specialist to join our team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our therapy team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical assistance to patients, working independently and as part of a team to deliver excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical assistance to patients, including assessing and treating patients, and participating in joint sessions with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver excellent patient care, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
- Assist in the coordination of therapy services, including managing gym activities and scheduling classes.
- Provide education and training to patients and other healthcare professionals on exercise prescription and other relevant topics.
- Contribute to the development of therapy services, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
Requirements
- Therapist Assistant or relevant work experience, with a strong understanding of physical rehabilitation and healthcare principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
