Senior Care Assistant Role Overview

At Avery Healthcare, we're committed to providing exceptional care to our residents. As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, and innovative environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, identifying any changes that impact care and updating care plans accordingly.
* Be involved in person-centred care planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating monthly evaluations.
* Support residents with their medication requirements, undertaking staff supervisions and staff development where needed.
* Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and visitors, ensuring reasonable requests are met and concerns or complaints are escalated.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll live our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. Our ideal candidate must:

* Hold an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* Have 2 years' experience working in a similar care environment.
* Possess effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate a positive attitude towards supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
