Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing various financial tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Invoice Management: Raise multiple types of customer and intercompany invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Receipts and Payments: Enter receipts, bank cheques, and process credit control, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  3. Bank Reconciliations: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  4. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure the company's financial stability.
  5. Supplier Invoicing: Check, code, obtain authorization, enter, and pay supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  6. Audits and Direct Debit: Conduct monthly audits and submit direct debit payments, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  7. Company Credit Cards and Mobile Bills: Reconcile company credit cards and mobile bills on a monthly basis.
  8. Staff Expenses: Check and pay staff expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  9. VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  10. Payroll Processing: Work with our external payroll provider to set up and process monthly porter payroll and overtime payments.
  11. Filing and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date paper and digital filing systems.
  12. Prepayment and Accrual Journals: Calculate and enter prepayment and accrual journals on a monthly basis.
  13. Monthly Close and Management Reports: Assist with the preparation of monthly close and management reports, providing valuable insights to the management team.
  14. Annual Audit Support: Provide information to accountants for the annual audit, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  15. Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other duties reasonably required to support the finance department and the company's financial operations.
