Position Overview

Junior Kitchen Chef at SSP Group

Compensation: £ As an added incentive, you will receive an additional £1.20 for hours worked between midnight and 6 AM, resulting in a pay rate of £13.44 per hour.

Work Schedule: 3 am to midnight

Candidates selected for this role will need to provide references covering the last 5 years and complete a Criminal Record Check as per Airport Security Regulations.

Due to specific responsibilities associated with the Team Member role, applicants must be at least 18 years old to perform certain tasks or work during specific shifts and will be required to handle and serve alcoholic beverages.

AS A JUNIOR KITCHEN CHEF, YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Assisting with deliveries. Preparing meats and vegetables. Supporting fellow chefs in their tasks. Aiding in stock rotation processes. Contributing to the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards. Managing time effectively for food preparation and service. Accurately measuring ingredients and portion sizes. Performing daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties as directed by the Kitchen Manager. Confidently preparing dishes from the menu.
