Head of Casualty Claims Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims professional to join our team as Head of Casualty Claims. As a key member of our Claims department, you will be responsible for leading the Casualty Claims team and driving the delivery of exceptional claims handling services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Casualty Claims team and develop strategies to improve claims handling efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with the Head of Third Party Claims to deliver corporate goals and promote LSM's core values.
- Manage a cross-section of Casualty claims, ensuring that the necessary level of expertise is deployed for investigation of coverage, liability, quantum, and strategy aspects of a file.
- Oversee and ensure claims are triaged appropriately, and handled in accordance with the LSM Claims Charter/Code of Conduct and Claims Guidelines.
- Liaise closely with internal and external stakeholders throughout the life cycle of the claim, including underwriters, actuaries, policyholders, brokers, and co-insurers.
- Contribute to the business' thought leadership, developing new ideas, and research to support LSM's underwriting and claims strategies.
- Enhance the exposure and profile of the Claims team through our Claims+ offering, attendance at market meetings, and working with our Claims Business Development team to explore business development opportunities.
