Position Overview

As a Nuclear Safety Case Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of nuclear operations. We provide a variety of hybrid and flexible working options tailored to your needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and author documentation related to nuclear substantiation to support safety assessments.
  • Review and validate calculations and analytical work.
  • Assist in the periodic review of safety protocols.
  • Support the implementation of substantiation requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with teams focused on Human Factors, Site Safety, and Engineering Authority.
  • Mentor and support the development of fellow Nuclear Substantiation team members.
  • Engage with the broader organization on activities related to nuclear substantiation.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in Nuclear Safety or Safety Case Analysis.
  • Background in Nuclear or other high-hazard, regulated industries.
  • Proficiency in producing high-quality technical reports.
  • A broad understanding of various engineering disciplines.
  • Chartered Engineer status from the Engineering Council and membership in a relevant professional organization.
