We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Property Services team in the Southampton and Hampshire region. As an Electrician with SNG, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient and effective electrical services to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine testing and repairs of electrical services equipment in customers' homes, ensuring compliance with Institute of Electrical Engineering (IEE) wiring regulations and Health and Safety at Work regulations.
- Estimate, requisition, and recommend the acquisition of necessary materials and spares to ensure satisfactory repairs and maintenance are carried out.
- Apply your knowledge and skills to record and report on the status and condition of electrical services equipment via periodic inspection sheets and minor works/installation certificates.
- Relevant and up-to-date qualifications, including NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), 18th Edition (BS7671), and City & Guild 2391 Electrical Test/Inspect.
- Experience within a similar role in the Residential/Housing sector is ideal.
- A full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's experience.
- A satisfactory licence check, essential qualifications check, and a basic disclosure.
