About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Management Accountant to join our team at NHS Property Services. As a key member of our Delivery Business Partnering team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial analysis and support to our senior management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage all accounting processes and activities related to a specific set of properties, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Support the production of monthly regional management accounts, including KPI reporting and variance analysis on P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Be accountable for the monthly reviews on Income and Expenditure at a property level, driving financial accountability with Senior Estates Managers.
  • Provide financial support to Estates Delivery Senior Managers, championing a continuous improvement approach across finance.
  • Ensure the recovery of costs from customers is in line with company policy, including Irrecoverables, Self Occupied, and Vacant unfunded properties.
Requirements
  • Broad understanding of business operations and governance/legal frameworks.
  • Good working knowledge of using Qube Horizon and Microsoft Dynamics NAV system.
  • Internal relationship management and experience in Property management accountancy or other relevant experience.
  • Qualified accountant or other relevant financial qualification.
  • Commercial and financial acumen, with data-driven decision making and financial management, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
