About the Role:- Coach and mentor support workers to deliver high-quality care services and meet the needs of our clients.
- Conduct regular supervisions for support workers to ensure they are meeting the required standards.
- Assist with covering absence and sickness of the support worker team.
- Carry out medication audits, spot checks, and quality reviews to ensure the safe and effective administration of medication.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records for our clients.
- Participate in monthly team and team leader meetings to discuss ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Induct new team members and provide ongoing support and training.
- Take part in the on-call rota, including alternate weekends, to provide 24-hour support to our clients.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering exceptional care services and has a strong understanding of the legislative requirements surrounding the care of vulnerable individuals. Essential skills for this role include:
- NVQ/QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Demonstrable understanding of the legislative requirements around care of vulnerable people.
- MCA and DOLS understanding of the requirements.
- Strong numeracy, literacy, and computer skills.
- Broad knowledge of Learning Disabilities and other related conditions.
- A valid driving license with access to a vehicle.
