Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Workforce Systems team as a Workforce Systems Assistant. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the drive towards data integrity in our Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system.

Main Duties

The key responsibilities of this role include the analysis of coding within ESR and updating or correcting data entries as necessary. The successful applicant will perform task-based work as part of large-scale projects on complex data sets, requiring a keen eye for detail and careful consideration of the impact of data amendments.

The successful applicant will build positive working relationships with other professional users of our systems, including recruitment teams, payroll, finance teams, corporate services functions, and rostering teams, to aid in data enhancements and system engagement.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • GCSE Level or equivalent qualification in English at C or above
  • Typing skills/qualifications such as RSA/OCR 3 or equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office software packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience of working under pressure to strict deadlines
  • Effective communication with key stakeholders
  • An understanding of the importance of data integrity
  • Ability to focus and perform consistently on task-based projects
