**Job Summary**

Thorn Baker Construction is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to our clients and site teams.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with clients and site management teams to develop and implement effective health and safety strategies
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards
  • Develop and maintain safe systems of work and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Provide training and guidance to site teams on health and safety procedures
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance, and provide recommendations for improvement

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in the construction industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in IT, with strong report writing skills
