**Job Title:** Assistant Account Handler
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Account Handler to join our team at St Giles Group. As an Assistant Account Handler, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients, while also contributing to the growth and development of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Service: Provide professional advice and service to all clients, ensuring that all customers are dealt with professionally and fairly.
- Relationship Building: Develop and sustain effective working relationships with customers, ensuring complete customer satisfaction as is reasonably possible.
- Business Development: Acquire and maintain knowledge of Insurance products to include Property Owners, Engineering, Contract All Risks & Terrorism, and use this knowledge to write new business and retain existing customers.
- Administrative Tasks: Produce correspondence to required timeframes and quality standards, issue and process new business documents, mid-term adjustments, cancellations and renewals, and keep accurate records.
- Communication: Answer general queries competently by telephone, email, post or in person, ensuring the information provided is accurate.
- Training and Development: Attend any appropriate training courses given inside and outside the office, and assist the Managers and other members of the team as required.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum 5 GCSE, Grades A-C including English and Maths.
- Experience: Previous Insurance experience is required, with a strong background in client service and administration.
- Skills: Accuracy and attention to detail, ability to work in a team, good communication skills, and computer literacy with good experience of using MS Office Suite.
