Role Overview

As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and delivering engaging learning programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our diverse workforce. You will work closely with various departments to identify training needs, create customized solutions, and measure the impact of learning interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Trust to understand their learning requirements and develop tailored training programs.
  • Design and deliver a range of learning activities, including workshops, online courses, mentoring sessions, and simulations.
  • Identify and evaluate suitable external training providers and resources to supplement internal development initiatives.
  • Monitor, review, and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, gathering feedback from participants and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in learning and development within the healthcare sector.
