Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at Brainkind Neurological Care Centre Lancashire (NCCL). As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing holistic assessments and treatment of complex neurological patients, setting and reviewing SMART goals, and supporting clients, families, and staff to work towards these goals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans
- Apply evidence-based practice and specialized skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions
- Collaborate effectively with team leaders, therapy and nursing teams, and the wider MDT
- Have a high level of communication skills to manage difficult conversations and identify/demonstrate conflict resolution skills
- Conduct clinical risk assessments and develop risk management plans relevant to the clinical group
- Stay at the forefront of your field by exploring new emerging technologies and techniques
