Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for undertaking home visits and assessments to identify equipment and adaptations within the home to reduce risks and increase independence for people in need of support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals' needs and develop personalized plans to improve their independence and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Provide expert advice on equipment and adaptations to support individuals with physical disabilities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least a Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and have HCPC registration.
  • Experience of working in a physical/community setting, and assessment & provision of specialist equipment and adaptations.
