Job Summary

CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a 3-month contract with a Local Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for utilizing local, departmental, and independent resources to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Occupational Therapy Assistants as required, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
  • Implement the Safeguarding Adults policy and procedure, managing staff through the process, including chairing complex strategy meetings.
  • Manage, monitor, and review care plans involving users and carers, liaising with other workers and agencies as necessary.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience working in a social care setting is essential, with a strong understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults.
  • Experience dealing with equipment and adaptations is also essential, as well as the ability to carry out assessments in line with Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 and the 1974 Health and Safety at Work Act.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council is a requirement for this role.
