Fareham, Hampshire, United Kingdom Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic leader for the role of Clinical Quality Improvement Manager to enhance our senior management team within Adult Forensic Services. This position is integral to our mission at Ravenswood House Secure Forensic Unit.

The Ravenswood team comprises a diverse group of professionals, including nurses, healthcare assistants, social workers, occupational therapists, psychologists, specialized therapists, and psychiatrists. Joining Ravenswood House is more than just employment; it is a career where your contributions are valued, and your professional growth is supported.

The successful candidate will work a flexible shift pattern, primarily during weekdays, to align with the operational needs of the service.

Ravenswood House specializes in providing care and treatment for individuals with severe mental health conditions in a secure setting, catering to male service users who may have a history of criminal behavior or exhibit challenging conduct.

We encourage applications from experienced Registered Learning Disability Nurses (RLDN) and Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) who are highly driven, possess exceptional organizational and teamwork abilities, and are committed to patient-centered care while embodying the Trust's core values. Candidates should be prepared to advance their careers and demonstrate a commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Key Responsibilities

The primary objective of Ravenswood House is to empower Service Users to comprehend and manage their mental health and associated risks, facilitating their reintegration into the community when it is safe to do so. This is accomplished through a variety of treatments, therapies, and services tailored to meet the unique needs of each Service User, delivered by our Multi-Disciplinary Team.

As a vital member of this team, you will collaborate with colleagues to ensure the provision of high-quality patient care. You will assist the Clinical Ward Manager, Modern Matron, and the broader leadership team in executing the overall quality enhancement strategies established by the service, ensuring that a continuous cycle of clinical improvement is ingrained throughout the unit.

Your role will involve managing, maintaining, and enhancing several systems that align with Trust strategies and the Specialist Services agenda, including the patient incident reporting system, quality improvement initiatives, and enhancements to patient experience.
