As a Buyer for Books (Grade C), you will be responsible for enhancing the commercial success of your category across various formats. You will have the authority to make key decisions and implement your category strategy effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and achieving key commercial performance indicators related to sales and profitability.
  • Curating a compelling product assortment that meets customer needs while achieving commercial objectives.
  • Developing a continuous stream of initiatives aimed at enhancing sales and profitability.
  • Managing the category and trade plan in alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Negotiating and overseeing supplier relationships, including establishing a clear supplier strategy and improving terms.
