About the Role

Schoen Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the nursing staff to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee shift operations to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Guide and mentor junior colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and implement care plans that align with NICE guidelines and best practices.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Ensure patient safety and report any concerns or incidents.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.

Requirements

  • A good standard of education, ideally NVQ level 2 or equivalent.
  • Clear evidence of continued professional development and a commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, with a strong understanding of patient care and safety protocols.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Experience using MS Office systems and IT-based patient record systems.
