About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care assistance, including washing, grooming, dressing, and toileting, while respecting the dignity and privacy of each client.
  • Assist clients with meal planning, preparation, and taking into consideration their dietary preferences, restrictions, and nutritional needs.
  • Prompt clients to take their medications as prescribed and assist with medication management as needed.
  • Foster meaningful companionship with clients by engaging in conversation, participating in leisure activities, and providing emotional support and encouragement.
  • Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living spaces, doing laundry, changing bedding, and organizing belongings.
  • Provide transportation assistance to clients for errands, appointments, and social engagements.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with clients, their families, and the care team to ensure continuity of care.
