At Nottinghamshire County Council, we are dedicated to managing The Local Government Pension Scheme for our active, deferred, and retired members. As we embark on an exciting journey to enhance our software system, Civica UPM, we aim to revolutionize our processes, fostering a more automated approach to benefit processing and an online service for scheme members and employers.

The Pension Administration Team plays a crucial role in delivering this service, assisting scheme members as they prepare for retirement, providing essential pension information to our active workforce, and supporting pensioners who are already receiving their benefits.

Are you a people-oriented individual with a proactive mindset? If so, you might be the perfect addition to our team at Nottinghamshire County Council. While prior pensions experience is advantageous, we are also eager to welcome new team members and will provide comprehensive training.

In this role, you will be responsible for processing Local Government Pension Scheme benefits in key areas such as retirements, deaths, beneficiary benefits, and transfers into and out of the Scheme. Additionally, you will participate in ongoing process improvement initiatives as part of our broader service development.
