Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities and Administration Team Manager to join our National Security Solutions Operations Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of facilities and administration professionals who provide support to our operations across various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the NG UK facilities strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead a team of facilities and administration professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the facilities and administration team, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external suppliers and contractors to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
- Manage the facilities and administration budget, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Provide support to other NG facilities on an ad hoc basis, as required.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or other Health and Safety qualification.
- Solid experience of working in a Facilities and/or Health & Safety role.
- Experience of working with internal customers (employees) and external providers (suppliers).
- Experienced negotiator.
- Experienced line manager who is used to dealing with cross-functional teams.
Competency/Skill requirements:
- Adaptable in a changing environment.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage and communicate effectively with all audiences/stakeholders.
- Highly-organised with strong administration skills.
- An engaging and customer-focused 'can do' attitude.
- Proficient at multi-tasking, working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Innovative and creative, able to think outside the box.
- A good understanding of KPIs and SLAs.
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office tools, databases, and e-learning solutions.
Security clearance: Due to the nature of our projects, you must be a British national for this clearance type. You must be able to gain and maintain the highest level of UK Government security.
