About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager to join our team at JAGGAER. As a Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the Product Life Cycle for our Sourcing solutions, including Strategic Sourcing for Indirect Spend, Advanced Sourcing Optimizer, and Advanced Rates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Roadmap Management: Strategically manage the product roadmap to drive innovation and facilitate investment decisions, utilizing thorough business case analyses, including Build/Buy/Partner analysis.
  • Market Demand Translation: Translate market demands into actionable product requirements, including problem statements, user personas, and scenarios.
  • Subject Matter Expert Collaboration: Organize regular Subject Matter Expert (SME) and customer working groups to delve into functional requirements and everyday use cases, fostering deeper insights.
  • Product Alignment: Foster collaboration among Product Managers to ensure alignment with overarching product strategy.
  • Development Prioritization: Effectively prioritize development requirements per business objectives and market demands, discerning critical and differentiating features to maximize JAGGAER's value.
  • Functional Specifications: Create functional specifications for new features to aid development estimation and release planning.
  • Development Guidance: Guide development and architecture teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure timely delivery and high quality.
  • Market Launch Support: Support the successful market launch of new and enhanced products by defining distinctive competencies, conducting internal training sessions, collaborating with product marketing and education teams for accurate documentation, and serving as a knowledgeable resource in sales and client interactions.
  • Product Expertise: Be a credible product expert in sales calls, prospect, and client meetings.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement technology is desirable.
  • 2+ years of previous experience in Product Management roles is a must-have.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and Pragmatic Marketing.
  • High level of customer focus, establishing and maintaining good customer relationships as an organizational leader.
  • Analytic and strategic thinking, solid decision-making skills in the face of imperfect data.
  • Strong planning, written, and verbal communication skills (incl. public speaking & teaching).
  • Strong sense of ownership and dedication to accomplish goals and succeed.
  • Collaborate effectively with executives and around the business to reach a consensus on roadmap and deliverables.
  • Must have a track record of meeting or exceeding target goals.
  • Strong organizational skills, including demonstrated prioritization skills in a rapidly changing environment, are required.
  • Ability to support and manage global teams across time zones is required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% is required.
