Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Collage Recruitment. As a Paediatric Specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialist Occupational Therapy Services to children aged 0-16 years.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake assessments of children using standardized and informal assessment tools.
- Develop and implement child-centered treatment plans using goal attainment scaling and a range of treatment techniques.
- Conduct 1:1 and small group treatment sessions in school and/or clinic settings.
- Provide high-quality clinical record keeping and effective communication with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Work collaboratively with families to ensure child-centered care and provide a high standard of clinical service.
- Recognized Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and Health Professions Council – Licence to Practice.
- Experience of working with children with a wide range of needs, including Autistic Spectrum disorders, Dyspraxia, Sensory Processing Disorder, and neurological disorders.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Highly developed negotiation, conflict management, and problem-solving skills in complex situations.
- Ability to work with diverse needs of clients with complex communication difficulties and knowledge of a range of assessment tools relevant to the specialist client group.
- Ability to work at a high level of autonomy and flexibility to meet the changing demands of the service.
- Approachable and amenable, with a willingness to support others and work collaboratively with families.
- Ability to move and transfer equipment to various locations and understanding of moving and handling policies.
- Ability to be physically agile for daily prolonged periods of time and work in sometimes unpleasant working conditions.
