About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in an acute care setting. As an Acute Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients in need of occupational therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans
- Implement and evaluate occupational therapy interventions to promote patient independence and functional ability
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' needs and goals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs
Requirements:
- Current registration with the relevant professional body
- Experience working in an acute care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
