Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply CFD principles to aid in the development of F1 car performance
  • Optimise CFD processes to enhance correlation with wind tunnel and track data
  • Collaborate with Aerodynamicists and Software Teams to advance the department's capabilities
  • Develop programming skills to create robust solutions for technical challenges
  • Analyse performance data and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Conduct root cause analysis to resolve technical issues efficiently
About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and scientists who are passionate about innovation and excellence. As a CFD Industrial Placement at Williams Racing, you will have the chance to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new simulation tools to optimising car performance. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other teams within the company, including aerodynamics, software development, and manufacturing.
