About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Aerodynamics team as an Industrial Placement student. As an Aerodynamics Industrial Placement, you will play a critical role in contributing to the aerodynamic development of our Formula 1 car.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate innovative ideas to improve aerodynamic performance
  • Design and develop aerodynamic components using CAD software
  • Perform CFD analysis to optimize aerodynamic performance
  • Analyze data and generate reports to inform design decisions
  • Participate in wind tunnel testing and collaborate with other aero development teams
Requirements
  • Pursuing a degree in Aerospace or Motorsport Engineering with a strong foundation in aerodynamics
  • Experience in motorsport or relevant projects
  • Proficiency in CAD software and data analysis tools
  • Experience with CFD software and its application in engineering
  • Good understanding of race car aerodynamics and technical regulations
