Quality Engineer Industrial Placement

Williams Racing is a world-renowned Formula One team with a rich history of innovation and success. As a Quality Engineer Industrial Placement post-holder, you will be part of a dynamic team that drives the quality culture in the business, supporting the company to meet customer requirements.
Job OverviewThis role offers a rare opportunity to be involved in the world of Formula 1 from an early stage in your career. You will work alongside some of the most talented engineers in the industry, contributing to the development of a car that will compete on the world stage.
Responsibilities- Track current status' of open investigations, ensuring validation and closure is met
- Attend team meetings to discuss investigation status' and collaborate with various departments for seamless action implementations
- Perform daily tasks such as data analysis and process updates, and conduct full root cause analysis investigations into technical problems
- Regularly communicate with engineers and project managers to meet technical requirements
- Experience in CAD software and basic understanding of engineering principles
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and strong problem-solving ability
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and strong background in mechanical or automotive engineering through internship or personal projects
- Motorsport experience through internships or personal projects is highly desirable
