About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structures Industrial Placement to join our team at Williams Racing. As a key member of our Structures department, you will play a critical role in analysing components and assemblies to ensure they meet our safety criteria while reducing weight to a minimum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the analysis of vehicle components to ensure they meet our safety and performance requirements.
  • Provide concise and relevant feedback to design stakeholders to inform design decisions.
  • Attend team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and collaborate with various departments for seamless integration of new technologies.
  • Regularly communicate with engineers and project managers to meet all technical requirements.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • A clear focus on structural engineering and related technologies.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate and learn from those around you.
  • Strong background in mechanical or automotive engineering developed from studies or personal projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
