Position Overview

This role is primarily remote, with travel across the country required on a weekly basis. You will have the flexibility to organize your schedule around site visits, which may vary from week to week. A valid driving license is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple simultaneous post-merger integration projects, facilitating the seamless incorporation of newly acquired entities into the organization.
  • Oversee projects across various domains including Finance, IT, HR, and Operations, ensuring effective business transformation and communication.
  • Lead the communication strategy for the first month following acquisition.
  • Update and disseminate company policies to newly integrated businesses.
  • Document existing operational processes and workflows to support successful integration.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors as necessary to fulfill integration requirements.
  • Develop deployment strategies for IT and technology-related projects to minimize downtime and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Review and maintain project plans to ensure alignment with the project management system.
  • Identify and escalate risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions for business systems projects.
  • Manage data related to systems and personnel to ensure effective delivery of integration projects.
  • Assist in creating communication materials, training resources, and other essential information for integration efforts.
  • Support the Head of Projects in generating project and program-level reports, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of the project management office.
  • Provide administrative and project support as required.

Candidate Profile

  • A Project Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Possession of a project management certification such as APM or Prince 2 is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of risk and issue management processes.
  • Proficient in project planning, including the creation and updating of project plans.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects effectively.
  • Confident in engaging with project stakeholders and third-party partners.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.
  • Must possess a valid driving license and have access to a personal vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in business integration or change management projects is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in French or German is a plus.
