Overview

A dynamic private equity-backed organization is seeking a Project Manager to oversee integration initiatives following acquisitions. This role presents an excellent opportunity to become part of a company poised for significant growth, offering ample career advancement and professional development.

The position is primarily remote, with expected nationwide travel on a weekly basis. You will have the flexibility to organize your schedule around site visits, which may vary from week to week. A valid driving license is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple simultaneous post-merger integration projects to assimilate newly acquired entities into the organization.
  • Engage in projects across various domains including Finance, IT, HR, and Operations, with a strong emphasis on business transformation and effective communication.
  • Specifically oversee the communication strategy for the first month post-acquisition.
  • Update and relay company policies to newly integrated businesses.
  • Document existing workflows and business processes as necessary to facilitate successful integration.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors as needed to execute integration tasks.
  • Develop deployment strategies for IT and technology-related projects to manage system downtimes and go-live events.
  • Review project timelines to ensure all activities within your scope are current in the project management system.
  • Identify and escalate any risks or issues, implementing mitigation strategies as required.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions for business systems projects as necessary.
  • Handle system and personnel data to ensure the effective delivery of integration projects.
  • Assist in the creation of communications, training materials, and other essential information for integration efforts.
  • Support the Head of Projects in generating project and program-level reports and enhancing the efficiency of the developing PMO.
  • Provide administrative and project support as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • A Project Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Possession of a project management certification such as APM or Prince2 is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of risk and issue management processes.
  • Experience in project planning, including both the creation and updating of plans.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
  • Confident in engaging with project stakeholders and third-party partners.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well-organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.
  • Must possess a full driving license and have access to a personal vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in business integration or change management projects is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in French or German is a plus.
