Genomic Research Program Manager

The East GMSA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the core GMSA management team, you will play a crucial role in the effective management of the genomic research program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement research and innovation activities within the East GMSA
- Manage the development and implementation of research and innovation projects across a complex footprint
- Act as the first point of contact for the GMSA research agenda
- Provide a key link between the GMSA and NHSE with regards to key performance indicators and assurance evidence
- Work closely with the Clinical Director, Strategy Director, Innovation Director, senior clinical team members, and other regional GMSA Research Coordinators
- Master's level education or equivalent level experience of working at a senior level in a specialist area
- Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development
- Project or operational management experience working within an academic or NHS environment
- Knowledge and experience of handling complex relationships
- An understanding of the clinical trial process in the UK, including how individuals can participate in clinical research programs
- An understanding and experience of the UK research funding landscape
- Knowledge and experience of the NHS innovation landscape and partners such as the Academic Health Science Networks
