Job Title: Senior Genomics Research Coordinator

The East Genomic Medicine Service Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Senior Genomics Research Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the East GMSA management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating research and innovation projects across the complex footprint of the NHS, academic, and industry partners.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement research and innovation activities within the East GMSA
  2. Manage the development of research and innovation projects
  3. Act as the first point of contact for the GMSA research agenda
  4. Provide a key link between the GMSA and NHSE with regards to key performance indicators and assurance evidence

Requirements

  • Educated to Masters level or equivalent level experience of working at a senior level in a specialist area
  • Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development
  • Project or operational management experience working within an academic or NHS environment

About the East Genomic Medicine Service Alliance

The East GMSA is an Alliance Partnership between Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Norfolk and Norwich University NHS Foundation Trust, University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, and Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be employed by and located at the nearest NHS Trust Alliance Partner within the East GMSA.
