Payroll Team Leader

### Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Team Leader to lead our payroll operations and manage a team of payroll administrators. The successful candidate will have a strong background in payroll, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
### Key Responsibilities
* Deliver end-to-end payroll services for allocated outsourced clients
* Lead a small number of payroll administrators
* Manage daily workload and plans
* Be the first point of call for escalations on complex payroll topics
* Report performance to the service delivery manager
* Maintain client relationships for payroll services
### Requirements
* Strong mathematics skills and the ability to carry out manual payroll calculations
* Ability to run manual payroll calculations to include tax, NIC, student loans, and pension deductions
* Ability to process payroll from end to end including year-end procedures
* Ability to use excel including use of formulas including v look-ups and pivot tables
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Ideally, hold a relevant payroll qualification
