About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at CE Back Office. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage payroll inbox and respond to queries from HR, Managers, Employees, and Third-Party Suppliers.
  • Prepare payroll imports and changes on time and upload them to the payroll system.
  • Review payroll data, including manual checks, NMW compliance, and prepare sign-off reports.
  • Prepare and upload third-party reports.
  • Ensure payroll compliance.
  • Complete annual payroll tasks, including year-end processing, P11D submissions, and PSA reporting.
  • Generate reports as required.
Requirements
  • Strong mathematics skills and the ability to carry out manual payroll calculations.
  • Ability to run manual payroll calculations, including tax, NIC, student loans, and pension deductions.
  • Ability to process payroll from end to end, including year-end procedures.
  • Ability to use Excel, including use of formulas, v-look-ups, and pivot tables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ideal candidate will hold a relevant payroll qualification.
