Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Nuffield Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmacy services to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide in-house pharmacy services, including dispensing and procurement, to ensure the efficient operation of our pharmacy department.
  • Assist with clinical ward work and checking, including the use of Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation.
  • Work closely with our Pharmacy Manager to develop and implement pharmacy services that meet the needs of our patients and staff.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our pharmacy stock and inventory management systems.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Service or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good IT skills and literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation.
  • Accredited Checking Technician qualification (desirable).
