Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Nuffield Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmacy services to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-house pharmacy services, including dispensing and procurement, to ensure efficient and effective medication management.
- Assist with clinical ward work and checking, including ACT and MM tasks, to ensure accurate and safe medication administration.
- Work closely with our Pharmacy Manager to develop and implement pharmacy services that meet the needs of our patients and staff.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Service or equivalent is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
- Good IT skills and literacy, numeracy, and communication skills are required for accurate and efficient record-keeping and reporting.
- Medicines Management/Reconciliation accreditation is essential for this role.
- Accredited Checking Technician qualification is desirable.
