Exciting Opportunity for a Clinical Oncology Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Oncology Specialist to join our dynamic team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This role will support the urological and breast cancer service, focusing on prostate seed delivery and complex radiotherapy planning.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintaining high clinical standards in managing urological and breast cancers.
- Participating in complex radiotherapy planning and treatment techniques, including prostate seed delivery.
- Delivering systemic treatment and actively participating in clinical trials.
- Designing original clinical trials and supervising junior medical staff.
- Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings, ward rounds, and on-call commitments.
The ideal candidate will be fully registered with the GMC and have CCT or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of appointment. We welcome applications from candidates unable to work full-time or interested in job-sharing.
