Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Trials Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our department, you will play a vital role in the management and leadership of our clinical trials team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert knowledge and guidance on clinical trials and research studies
  • Leading and managing the clinical trials team to ensure high-quality delivery of services
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of clinical trials services
  • Providing training and support to staff on clinical trials and research studies
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience in a clinical trials or research setting
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong knowledge of clinical trials and research studies, including regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work
