Job Overview

The Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our Clinical Trials team. As a Pharmacy Technician in this role, you will play a key part in the management and leadership of the department, working closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Technician in Clinical Trials, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert knowledge and support to our clinical trials team, ensuring the safe and effective management of clinical trials.
  • Working closely with our research team to develop and implement new clinical trials protocols.
  • Collaborating with our pharmacy team to ensure the accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
  • Providing training and support to our staff on clinical trials procedures and protocols.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures related to clinical trials.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • 2 years of experience working in a clinical trials environment.
  • 6 months of experience at band 6 or equivalent.
  • ILS, PILS, and TILS qualifications.
  • ALS, mentorship, or equivalent qualifications desirable.
