About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Tesco. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of our modern pharmacies and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management of our pharmacies, ensuring accurate dispensing of medication and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Work closely with our pharmacy team to provide a seamless customer experience, answering questions and offering advice on common ailments and products.
  • Assist with the dispensing process, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy at all times.
  • Provide information on our range of pharmacy services, including health checks and medication management.
  • Work collaboratively with our pharmacy team to achieve our goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Pharmacy Technician NVQ (or similar) qualification
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Proof of completion of a recognised training course for an Accuracy Checking Technician/Pharmacy Technician
  • Proof of completing your annual Continuing Professional Development requirements
