Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Tesco. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of our modern pharmacies and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Support the management of our pharmacies, ensuring accurate dispensing of medication and maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Apply your technical skills and strong customer focus to provide a seamless experience for our customers.
- Dispense prescription medicines, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy at all times.
- Provide information and support to customers, offering guidance on common ailments, symptoms, and products.
- Assess the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions and respond to customer queries.
- Support the Pharmacy Manager and Duty Pharmacy Manager in supervising and developing other members of the pharmacy team.
- Pharmacy Technician NVQ (or similar) qualification.
- Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Proof of completion of a recognised training course for an Accuracy Checking Technician/Pharmacy Technician.
- Proof of completing your annual Continuing Professional Development requirements.
- Annual payment of your GPhC fee.
