Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team at ASL Recruitment Ltd. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and supporting our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Quality Control: Receive goods-inwards and conduct quality checks to ensure items comply with purchase order requirements and are in good condition.
  • Kitting and Packaging: Prepare and package items for shipment to partner businesses for sub-contract operations.
  • Inventory Management: Manage post-production inventory, ensuring parts are stored correctly to maintain quality requirements.
  • Shipping and Logistics: Prepare and pack finished goods for shipment to customers, including creating delivery notes.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Manage bookings with various couriers to ensure goods are sent on-time, safely, and in accordance with supplier and customer requirements.
  • Supply Chain Support: Support the supply of packaging materials and carry out required transactions in the company's Production Control System to ensure full traceability requirements are maintained.
  • Stock Management: Support monthly and end-of-year stock takes and track shipments as required.
  • Team Support: Provide support to other team members and departments during busy times to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Demonstrable experience within a Warehouse/Stores role.
  • Skills: Good IT skills, including database systems, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Qualities: Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize personal workload, and strong team player.

Working Hours:

Monday – Thursday, 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 1pm.

Location:

St Leonards, East Sussex.
