About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of client accounts and events, working as part of an existing team. This will involve forging strong relationships with clients, discussing ideas for event theming, set and stage design, signage, and other aspects of event production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present event concepts for client sign-off
  • Manage event planning from concept to delivery, including on-site preparations and event breakdown
  • Lead pre-event meetings and conduct post-event debriefs
  • Manage and control event costs and budgeting
  • Produce event plans and schedules to ensure all stakeholders are aware
  • Keep clients informed and obtain consent for any additional costs
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and venues to secure best rates
  • Source and select venues
  • Plan logistics
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed
  • Comply with insurance requirements
  • Enforce health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event planning or management, either in-house or for an event agency or production company
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work outside of conventional office hours when required, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
  • UK-based candidate with full leave to remain
