About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Fundraising Coordinator – Events to join our team at Headway – the brain injury association. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a vital role in driving impactful fundraising events that support individuals, families, and communities across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with event participants, providing motivation, fundraising advice, and ensuring they meet targets while having a positive experience with the charity.
  • Event Support: Serve as the primary contact for event fundraisers, handling enquiries and providing support to ensure successful events.
  • Sponsorship and Marketing: Assist the Events Manager with securing sponsorships for events, sourcing raffle and auction prizes, and coordinating event marketing efforts.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update the fundraising database, ensuring timely bank analysis, accurate donation records, and appropriate donor acknowledgments.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate across teams to develop ideas and ensure fundraisers are directed to appropriate local resources when needed.
About You

  • Be able to build relationships to engage and support fundraisers, volunteers, and supporters.
  • Have experience in planning events or handling fundraising logistics, which will help increase participation and success.

Headway – the brain injury association plays a pivotal role in supporting individuals and families affected by brain injuries. Our comprehensive services encompass rehabilitation, counseling, and practical assistance to help survivors regain independence and improve their quality of life.
