About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Fundraising Coordinator – Events Specialist to join our team at Headway – the brain injury association. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a crucial role in driving impactful fundraising events that support individuals, families, and communities across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Maintain Relationships

Develop and maintain strong relationships with event participants, providing motivation, fundraising advice, and ensuring they meet targets while having a positive experience with the charity.

Event Fundraising Support

Serve as the primary contact for event fundraisers, handling enquiries and providing support to ensure successful fundraising events.

Sponsorship and Marketing

Assist the Events Manager with securing sponsorships for events, sourcing raffle and auction prizes, and coordinating event marketing through various channels.

Fundraising Database Management

Maintain and update the fundraising database, ensuring timely bank analysis, accurate donation records, and appropriate donor acknowledgments.

Team Collaboration

Collaborate across teams to develop ideas and ensure fundraisers are directed to appropriate local resources when needed.

About You

We are open-minded and welcome all applicants who believe they can succeed in this role. Ideally, you will:

  • Be able to build relationships to engage and support fundraisers, volunteers, and supporters.
  • Have experience in planning events or handling fundraising logistics, which will help increase participation and success.
