Position Overview

The Senior Nurse Practitioner will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality healthcare services in accordance with the NMC guidelines. Key Responsibilities

The post-holder will:

  • Act as the primary contact for patients seeking assistance with specific health concerns, conducting thorough health assessments based on advanced nursing expertise.
  • Provide informed advice, initiate appropriate treatments, and refer patients to general practitioners when necessary.
  • Manage minor illness clinics, facilitating early diagnosis and intervention for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care protocols and standards.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing health and well-being within the community, addressing the unique needs of various patient groups.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of practice services through evidence-based methodologies.

Clinical Duties

The Senior Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
